Enjoy the magnificent view while driving!
On a clear day you can see Toyama Bay, the Tateyama mountains chain and the Noto Peninsula from the Shinminato Bridge. From the top of the bridge you can also see the first Kaio Maru, the tall ship moored in the nearby Kaiomaru Park. The length of the total construction involved in building the bridge is 3.6km, included the arches. Supported by towers 127m high, it has a shoreline-to-shoreline length of 600m and is the largest cable-stayed bridge on the west coast of Japan. Enjoy the fantastic view while driving across! We also recommend the view from the Ainokaze Promenade for pedestrians and cyclists!
