The Kaiwomaru's Full Sail Exhibition

Admire the beautiful and magnificent Lady of the Seas

  • The Kaiwomaru in Full Sail and the Shinminato Bridge

The main event for the Kaiwomaru, affectionately known as the Lady of the Seas, is the full sail exhibition! This event started in April 1990, when the ship was presented with its 29 sails out for the first time. This beautiful sight is a perfect fit for her nickname, the Lady of the Seas. Each time, around 100 volunteers help out for this exhibition, pulling ropes to unfurl the sails or put them away, which is always a sight to see. We are always looking for volunteers. Consult the website for more information.
